While working in Alor and Timor (Savu Sea) in October 2017 on our blue whales and oceanic cetacean whale watch expeditions, APEX was fortunate to team up with Kay Burn Lim, an expert film-maker from Iconic Images. After many days of surveying for blue whales on board the fantastic live-aboard Damai 2, we got the first 8K! underwater footage of a blue whale in Indonesia, and in the Coral Triangle.
